Convenient Wire Spacing Wire spacings for shelving decks are designed to compliment each shelves intended use. All shelving uses a 1" spacing to keep clothes well ventilated. Pantry shelving uses a 1/2"deck spacing to increase strength for use in storage rooms, garages, workshops and pantries keep small items from tipping or failing through the deck.
